Florentine biscuits
Traditional Italian biscuits made from dried fruit and nuts including glacé cherries, almonds and hazelnuts. They are coated with milk, plain or white chocolate on one side.
Uses: Florentines are very rich and can be served with coffee for a treat or for a quick pudding crumble them over some vanilla or nut ice cream and top with single or whipped double cream.
To store: Keep in a cool, dry place and once opened store the biscuits in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks.
