Feeding a crowd for Passover dinner? Serve crispy-caper-topped potatoes, slow-roast beef brisket and other must-have dishes at your Seder dinner table

“Passover (or Pesach in Hebrew) is a Jewish springtime festival that commemorates the Israelites escaping from slavery in Egypt,” says food writer and stylist Eleanor Maidment. “The evening before the week-long festival is often marked with a meal called the Seder, during which certain foods are eaten to signify parts of the Exodus story. The most well-known of these is an unleavened bread called matzo, and during the entire Passover period many Jews refrain from eating leavened foods, such as bread, as well as grains and certain legumes. Ingredients used for Passover recipes should be kosher."
