Carefully cutting around the fruit's large central stone
Twist the halves in opposite directions, until they come apart
Use a teaspoon to remove the stone
The stone helps prevent browning, so leave it in situ in any unused avocado halves
Carefully peel the skin away from the flesh with your fingers or the tip of a knife
