Gimblett GravelsWine of Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Vegan friendly.Saint Clair Family Estate is owned by viticulture pioneers Neal and Judy Ibbotson, who planted grapes in Marlborough in 1978. The grapes for this viognier have been sourced from their highly regarded vineyard in the Gimblett Gravels wine-growing district of Hawke's Bay New Zealand. This region and this vineyard are unique with its nutritious alluvial soils that have been formed by sediments from millions of years ago. Wine of New Zealand, Hawke's Bay Produced in small quantities this reserve viognier is handcrafted by our winemaking team. Reflecting the terroir the wine displays distinctive characters of white peach and nectarine stone fruits combined with subtle citrus and a spice note. Rich and complex with layers of flavours, full-bodied with a lingering and fresh finish. Winemaker - Stewart Maclennan
