Wine of France.Being particularly exposed to the autumnal sunshine, the vines of these parcels are harvested at night and the grapes pressed very early in the morning, before the harvest has even started in the other vineyards. Made by Christophe Denoël and his team at the village cellar of Pouilly-sur-Loire, this wine is a classic example of Sauvignon blanc at its best. Set on chalky slopes looking across the Loire to the hill of neighbouring Sancerre, the vines benefit from a great terroir and micro-climate, giving intense fruit flavours, aromas and concentration.
