Because We Care Our dairy cows are cared for to the highest welfare standards, spending on average 180 days grazing outside each year - the rest of the time, like people, they prefer to avoid the rain! We source milk locally, from three neighbouring counties, cutting down our road miles. Locally Sourced Excellence Our 1912 Golden Blue™ is made with milk sourced locally from our farmer's cooperative. By buying this beautiful blue cheese you are supporting the 30 British farmers who own our business, all of whom are within 30 miles of the dairy.
