Red Portuguese Wine
Founded in 1811 on the island of Madeira by John Ernest Blandy, the Blandy name has become synonymous with quality Madeira wine. For over two centuries and seven generations the Blandy family have played a leading role in the development of one of the world’s greatest and most unique wines. Today members of the family continue to live and work on the island.

Blandy’s Duke of Clarence is part of 'The Dukes Collection', a range honoring the Dukes of England. Legend has it that the Duke of Clarence was drowned in a cask of Malmsey Madeira in 1478.

This is the richest style of Madeira, aged for 3 years for a full body, soft texture and rich complexity.

It is a superb accompaniment to desserts such as fruitcakes, chocolate puddings and also soft cheese, as well as making a splendid after-dinner drink.
