Created in the 70s, the tequila sunrise was a beach-bar hit in its Californian birthplace and holiday hotspots across the US. Crisp tequila and zingy orange were finished with a floating layer of ruby-red grenadine. Here, it gets a fruity makeover, with mango adding the tropical breeze of its Caribbean neighbours.
Serves: 1
50ml tequila
150ml Innocent Apple & Mango Juice
10ml grenadine
Orange slice
Fresh cherry
1. Fill a highball with ice, mix the tequila with juice then pour into an ice-filled glass.
2. Gently pour the grenadine over the back of a spoon into the glass. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
