Stuffed Dates Drizzled in Chocolate
Ingredients

50g plain chocolate

75g ground almonds

40g caster sugar

ΒΌ tsp rosewater

250g Medjool dates
Method

Combine 75g ground almonds and 40g caster sugar in a bowl. Stir in ¼ tsp rosewater and 2½ tsp water. Tip the mixture onto a clean surface and knead until it forms a paste, adding a little extra water if necessary.

Cut a slit along the length of 250g Medjool dates. Remove the stones then fill the dates with almond paste. Place the stuffed dates onto a wire rack.

Melt 50g plain chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the dates and set aside until the chocolate sets.
