    Perfect poached egg

    Serves: 1


    1 medium egg, very fresh


    1.  Fill a wide shallow pan with water and bring to a gentle simmer.

    2.  Gently crack in the egg. Cook for 3 minutes, until the white is set but the yolk is still runny.

    3.  Lift out with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper before serving.
